Google Chrome has discovered two surprise changes for the application available for Android phones and tablets, the company Google finally giving users what they have been waiting for a very long time. More precisely, at the moment the beta version of Google Chrome for Android has implemented a changed interface for downloading files from the Internet, but also the option to choose the location where they can be saved in the mobile terminals.
Google Chrome has in the image below presented the changes that have been discovered so far, they come as a very interesting surprise, because until now the change of the download location was offered only on computers. Considering that Android allows accessing files available in mobile terminals using dedicated applications, what Google Chrome offers is very normal, and allows a much simpler management of files downloaded from the Internet.
Google Chrome: Two SURPRISE Changes for the Application
Google Chrome has this function in the testing process at the moment, it also allows changing the name of the file we download from the Internet, so that it can be saved with any name we want. Basically, when we download something from the Internet using Google Chrome, we have the possibility to save that file in any location we want, and to give it any name we want, so that we can find it much easier when we want to access it with an application.
Google Chrome does not currently allow the use of the option to choose the location where a file can be saved, and this is because the system is currently only available in beta version for Canary users. Considering that Google is currently only testing this new functionality for Google Chrome, it is hard to say when it will be released for everyone, so we will have to be patient, and in the iPhone we could only see the option to rename files.
