WhatsApp: Update with the IMPORTANT Function on Phones

Last night, WhatsApp released a new update that brings an important feature to phones, which was announced some time ago by the company, but implemented only now.

WhatsApp Update IMPORTANT Function Phones

WhatsApp was updated again last night by the American company for users worldwide, and those who use the application for iPhone they have a functionality promised for some time, but only offered now. More precisely, I am talking about a new function of WhatsApp that allows iPhone users to make voice/video calls in groups with up to 4 people, it has been launched for Android phones since last week.

Just a week ago, WhatsApp officially launched this new feature for Android, the company stating that it will also be available for iPhone phones, but in the end an update for the application was also needed. This was launched last night by WhatsApp, and now anyone can make group voice and video calls from the application, with any kind of contacts who use it on iPhone and Android, the maximum number being 4 people.

WhatsApp allows you to use the function for group video and voice calls by simply calling a person and tapping the button to add other people to that conversation. The quality of video calls is determined by your internet connection, but WhatsApp claims that the calls are encrypted both to the user and to the company's servers, so, theoretically, the user experience should be a secure one.

"You can make a group call with up to four people in total - anytime and anywhere. Just start a one-on-one voice or video call and tap the new "add participant" button in the top right corner to add more contacts to the call. Group calls are always end-to-end encrypted, and we've designed calling to work reliably around the world in different network conditions. The feature is currently rolling out on the iPhone and Android versions of our app."

WhatsApp is not the only important change in this period, the American company recently launched a Business API through which it will ask for money from companies that want to get in touch with users to help them with various problems. WhatsApp also announced that it will display ads within the application for iPhone and Android users, so, unfortunately, the experience is going to be ruined by those from Facebook in the not too distant future.
