Telekom announced yesterday the financial results for Q2 2018, the mobile phone operator registering consistent revenues for this period, although it lost a fairly large number of customers. More precisely, in Q2 2018, Telekom registered revenues of 237.8 million euros in Romania, the revenues being very good even though the number of customers decreased, a sign that the operator managed to obtain good money from those who remained in the network.
Telekom had a customer base for television services that is 21% higher than in Q2 2017, but compared to Q1 2018 it decreased by 0.5%, so 2018 is a year in which this segment went down . Regarding fixed internet services, we are talking about a 2% decrease in the customer base, a 1% decrease being also recorded for the customer base of fixed telephony services, the receipts here decreasing by 21%.
Telekom continues to LOSE MANY CUSTOMERS in Q2 2018
Telekom also lost 3.4% of its mobile services customer base, reaching 4.7 million users at the end of June, but the operator says that this is mainly due to the elimination of inactive SIM cards. At the moment, 35% of Telekom customers have subscriptions, and 65% have prepaid cards, the percentage being much different than what is registered with Orange or Vodafone, but everything varies depending on the services offered by each one.
Telekom has been losing customers of mobile services for several fiscal quarters now, having stopped growing for some time, and here the biggest problem lies in the quality of the services it offers to customers. Unfortunately, those from Telekom are not quite able to find a "recipe for success" to be able to increase the number of customers in this segment, Digi Mobil being the main operator that took advantage of the exodus of customers from Telekom.

LOL! Asa in urma a ramas Telekomul?
