iPhone XR: FIRST Resistance Test (VIDEO)

The iPhone XR appears in the first endurance test today, the new Apple phone model proving to be surprisingly well-made by the Americans.

iPhone XR resistance

iPhone XR is going through the first endurance test today to show us how well Apple's new phone can withstand accidents. Those from Apple did not say what kind of glass protects the iPhone XR case compared to what exists for the iPhone XS, but theoretically it should be about glass of similar hardness.

The iPhone XR is compared to the iPhone 8 in this test to show us how durable the two models are, and this is because the first was launched to replace the second. The iPhone XR withstands without problems in the first part of the test, when the phones are "dropped" on a hard surface from a height of a little over one meter, the same being true for the iPhone 8.

iPhone XR resists, interestingly, even when it is dropped from head level with the screen directly on the hard surface, while the iPhone 8 remains with a cracked screen, and completely non-functional. When moving to heights of more than 2 meters, the iPhone XR withstands remarkably well the first drop, but the second case remains completely destroyed, unable to be used anymore, and requiring replacement.

iPhone XR has the screen destroyed on only the third release, but the whole phone becomes completely non-functional in this situation, the image of the main application screen remains stuck on the screen until it restarts. Comparing the iPhone XR with the iPhone 8 in terms of durability, it seems that the former is more durable, which is quite surprising considering its selling price.
