Google. New images have been released for Street View and Earth on the occasion of the Centenary of the Great Union, here are the locations that are now available to us.

On the occasion of the centenary, the Street View and Earth services have new images available for Romania, the American company making this very interesting gift for our country before December 1st. Google marks 100 years since the Unification of Romania with the publication of new images of the National Museum of the Union in Alba Iulia, together with all its collections, so that all those who cannot visit the location can see in Google Maps what is hidden inside .

We are talking here about some of the most important pieces related to the revolution of 1848 and the Great Union of 1918, i.e. Avram Iancu's letters, 6 volumes of Union documents from December 1, 1918, and not only that. The tricolor scarves worn by the delegations gathered on the Romanian Plateau, the manuscript of Vasile Goldis's speech, or Declaration of Independence from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, are now visible in Street View thanks to Google.

The Cathedral of the Reunification of the Nation in Alba Iulia is also available in Street View from Google Maps starting today, where the coronation of King Ferdinand and Queen Maria as sovereigns of Greater Romania took place. Thanks to the images recorded there, anyone can use Google's platforms to see the places where the reunification of Romania took place, places where they may never have the opportunity to reach, but which they can see virtually.

To mark the 100th anniversary of Romania's unification, Google is releasing new Street View images and Google Earth galleries dedicated to Romania and the centenary event. The National Museum of the Union in Alba Iulia and its collections are thus opened to virtual visitors, through the Street View images inside it. Also, the Cathedral of the Reunification of the Nation in Alba Iulia can be visited virtually on Google Maps. Along with these, Google published a Google Earth collection dedicated to Romania.
