Samsung, he doesn't lie, and after copying Apple products, he decided to also copy products of the Swiss company Swatch, being sued by them for compensation. Apple has already paid several hundred million dollars for copying the iPhones of the Apple company, and now it could pay some serious sums also for copying the watch faces of the Swatch company, which until now few have noticed.

Samsung, copied the dials of Swatch watches, and made a series of "girls" for his smartwatches, and if you look at the image below, you will understand why the Swiss are right when they complain. Swatch is demanding 100 million dollars in damages for copying dials for which it has patent protection, accusing Samsung of unfair competition, and of deceiving its consumers, who believe that those faces are the result of a collaboration with Swatch.

Samsung, allows you to download these girls from your virtual store Galaxy Apps, some of the copied ones are made by third-party developers, but the Koreans collect a commission from the sales made through the store. Swatch contacted Samsung in December to alert it to the fact that it had copied certain watch faces, but also that other developers had done so, some being deleted from Galaxy Apps, but the Koreans did not admit that they copied the dials of the Swiss watches.

Samsung, has not offered any statement in the face of these accusations, but since he didn't do enough to prevent the publication in his store of smartwatches copied from Swatch dials, it's clear that he doesn't really care about it. Swatch realized that it was "fighting against the windmills", so it decided to initiate this lawsuit, hoping to obtain the amount of 100 million dollars from Samsung, or something close to it, to cover its damages his brand.
