Digi Mobil. Orange, Vodafone, Telekom, are at the center of an announcement about electromagnetic radiation emitted by telecommunications equipment, all following measurements made by ANCOM in Romania. ANCOM constantly monitors the electromagnetic radiation generated by radio/TV stations, PMR, GSM, UMTS, LTE, WiFi, WiMax, so not only Digi Mobil, or other operators, are targeted, but other providers as well services.

According to those from ANCOM, the intensity of the electromagnetic field in Romania is below the limits imposed by the legislation in force, which is excellent news, because we are not subject to radiation greater than our bodies can withstand. ANCOM has carried out both fixed and mobile measurements to see if the radiation emitted by Digi Mobil stations, of other telecom operators, or radio/TV service providers are within the legal norms.

Digi Mobil. Annually, over 1000 mobile measurements of the intensity of the electromagnetic field are carried out in Romania, but only for emission equipment operating at frequencies up to 6 GHz. Last year, no less than 50 new fixed sensors were installed to monitor the intensity of the electromagnetic field of Digi Mobil equipment, and not only that, and all the data can be seen by anyone within this website.

The news from ANCOM is excellent, because we have confirmation of the fact that the radio equipment that is installed in various areas of the cities does not exceed the maximum allowed values regarding the intensity of electromagnetic fields. There are a lot of discussions regarding the radiation emitted by GSM equipment, especially those mounted on blocks, but ANCOM is now coming to calm the world, because Digi Mobil, and the rest of the operators, seem to have the equipment within the legal norms.
