More precisely, the head of Huawei's commercial products division in Spain confirmed that the company's sales fell by 25% - 30% on Monday after the announcement of the US sanctions and the cancellation of the license for the Android operating system.

I have already told you that in Spain all promotional campaigns for Chinese products have been canceled since last week, and now we have an official confirmation of the very big problems there. Huawei's sales have recovered in the following days, but they are not close to the level the company registered before Donald Trump imposed sanctions that would practically block the company's activity globally, not just in the USA.

Leaving aside the huge sales issue, the company representative could not guarantee that Android Q will reach the current current phone models, but also that the important updates for Android 9 will be offered. Of course, everyone knew that Huawei would not be able to provide updates for Android since Google canceled the company's license, and updates can no longer be distributed by the Chinese company to customers around the world.
If I say that sales have not been affected, it would be a lie. The drop in sales caused by the veto of the US Department of Commerce has already been quantified in Spain: between 25% and 30%. However, Pablo Wang, head of the consumer unit, says that in many centers the sales levels of previous ones are recovering.

This is the first time that a representative of the Chinese company admits that the sanctions imposed by the USA have affected the sales of phones in any country, and it is unlikely that we will see others. On the other hand, it is very possible that Huawei will have similar problems in other countries, and this is because the sanctions prevent the delivery of Android updates globally, not just in the US.
Huawei. Having said that, the analysts' estimates regarding the decline in sales of the Chinese company seem to be quite close to the truth, many saying that they will not be higher than 30%, but anything is possible.
