iOS 13 Apple has implemented support to be compatible with XBOX One S and PS4 controllers that are connected to iPhone phones. The announcement came as a major surprise for Apple customers, especially since the same support is brought by tvOS 13 for Apple TVs, and of course also for games.
Basically, those who own an iPhone and a console, will be able to enjoy using the controller for XBOX One S, or PS4 to control the games installed on the phone. Of course, developers need to implement support for these controllers in games, but there will definitely be companies that will want to do this in iOS 13.
iOS 13 brings this support at a time when the Apple company has come to the conclusion that Apple TV needs something like this to attack the consoles more seriously. For iPhone the support is not necessarily useful, but for iPad tablets it is a different situation, the controllers offering a much better experience for games from the App Store.
