Facebook will finally implement a dark mode in the application for phones, a few months after that Facebook Messenger had this dark theme enabled by the American company for everyone. The new dark mode has been discovered for now in the application for Android, but it is definitely being tested by Facebook including in the application for iPhone, so that everyone will enjoy a much more eye-friendly interface.
Facebook knows very well that its users have been waiting for the release of a dark mode for a very long time, and since iOS 13 will have a dark interface for phones, it was only natural that its application should also have this. Of course, it will take a few months of testing before officially offering a dark mode for applications dedicated to all phones, but it is quite clear that the intention is to offer this functionality.
This is how Facebook Dark Mode looks like in the Phone Application
Facebook has this dark mode in the early stage of the development process, so it will still need time to perfect everything, and it would not be excluded to allow its testing including by the public. Probably some of you remember the fact that for Facebook Messenger we were able to test that dark mode including in the public application, and it is possible that the same thing will happen even in this situation.
Facebook would implement this dark mode for the entire interface of its applications, so that no matter which menu we access, we should see the dark theme, which comes as very good news. Of course, images and video clips will not be affected, and so iOS 13 and Android would provide a native experience with dark mode for users regardless of which menu they access the information from, as is normal for phones.
Facebook will more than likely announce the launch of this dark mode before officially offering it in its main applications, where it is highly anticipated by many users.
