GODMOTHER. These ASTEROIDS can TOTALLY DESTROY the Earth

NASA warns us about asteroids that can completely destroy the Earth, the American space agency alerting the entire planet about the danger.

NASA ASTEROIDS TOTALLY DESTROY EARTH

NASA has repeatedly warned about the fact that the Earth could be completely destroyed by asteroids that are currently moving through the universe, their alerts being extremely serious. In a recent NASA regular podcast, an astronomer named Greg Leonard spoke with an American space agency researcher about asteroids that could completely destroy the Earth if they hit it.

NASA is sure that there are asteroids in the universe that are so big and have such high speeds that if they hit the Earth they would cause extremely significant damage and could destroy all life on the planet. So far, those from NASA have not detected any such asteroid whose trajectory intersects with that of the Earth, so at least for now we have no reason to fear that something could happen.

GODMOTHER. These ASTEROIDS can TOTALLY DESTROY the Earth

However, NASA has a history of not detecting some asteroids that arrived near the Earth without being detected in time, so if it has not discovered something now, that does not mean that we are not in great danger. According to NASA, hundreds of asteroids hit the Earth every day, but thanks to the fact that they are very small, they are completely disintegrated in the atmosphere, so they don't end up causing any damage.

"Our planet is in the middle of a cosmic shooting gallery. Asteroids fly by often, and the Earth is hit every day with hundreds of tons of dust grains and small rocks. Most of them burn up in the atmosphere, and sometimes we see them as meteor showers or shooting stars."

NASA claims that the asteroid that hit the Earth and led to the extinction of the dinosaurs 55 million years ago would have had a diameter of 81 kilometers, so it was absolutely huge, by today's standards. NASA is sure that there are still such large asteroids in the universe, and it is sure that at some point we will be in danger because of one, but it does not know exactly when, because it has not yet detected any danger.

NASA is constantly scanning the universe to discover possible dangers that exist for planet Earth, so it remains to be seen what else could be discovered in the future.
