Facebook: HOW TO FOOL THE WHOLE WORLD FOR YEARS AND DAYS

Facebook managed to fool the whole world for several years with a dirty tactic that it applied without scruples at the global level.

facebook fooled the world for years

Facebook it has the largest social network on the planet, and it is one of the largest companies on the planet at the moment, and in order to reach such positions it did pretty much whatever it wanted, for long periods of time. More precisely, those from Facebook have for many years deceived the entire user base, and not only that, that it is interested in protecting their data security, when in fact it just wanted to escape the competition.

Facebook started in 2012 to cut off developers' access to certain user data within its social network, motivating everything by the desire to protect people's data and privacy. In reality, those from Facebook applied this tactic to prevent other competing companies from having access to that data and developing their businesses "on their backs", or at least this was revealed in a trial pending before a court from the USA.

Facebook was forced to provide a judge with information from conversations held by some of its managers through internal communication systems, and that's how the strategy was revealed. The process was opened in 2015 by a company that produced an application for analyzing people's semi-nude photos, it lost access to Facebook users' data a year before, and was not happy about it.

Facebook is accused of anti-competitive behavior, and the documents brought to the court prove that its managers thought of a strategy to block the access of competing companies to the data of users of the social network. As long as a company had the potential to compete with Facebook, it was seen by managers as a possible risk, and access to user data was restricted "for security reasons", although the real ones were different.

Facebook announced its policy to "protect people's data" after restricting thousands of developers, but everything was done only to protect its business, not because it cares about its users.
