The change in Google Maps that was NEEDED for a LONG time

Google Maps has finally implemented a very important change that was needed for a very long time for the application, here is what it will offer.

Google Maps change REQUIRED

Google Maps it is the most used online map application in the world at the moment, the platform having many users, but also maps that cover vast areas of the entire planet, but of course it is very far from being perfect. More precisely, Google Maps did not have until now a function that would allow people to be directed to alleys, or through areas, where there is public lighting at night.

Google Maps didn't really have a way to easily obtain this information, in general the city halls are the ones that have detailed information on the areas where there is street lighting, and those where there is no such thing. Despite this, it seems that a modification will be implemented in Google Maps to help people stop driving at night through areas where there is no lighting, and there is a possibility of not being safe.

The change in Google Maps that was NEEDED for a LONG time

Google Maps should have a special way to view the maps, which will display a segment of information over the roads and pedestrian paths that tells us where there is street lighting, and where there is no such thing for pedestrians, cyclists, etc. Google Maps thinks of this new functionality as one designed to increase user safety, or at least that's what the source code of a beta version of the application that is developed for Android shows.

Google Maps is an application designed to offer users the best possible level of security, but of course there are also situations where Google unintentionally sends users in the wrong directions, or in not very safe areas. Having information about the areas where there is street lighting, people can stay much calmer because there are fewer chances of being attacked, and Google Maps can direct them only where they need to go.

Google Maps does not yet have any information about the countries in which this functionality will be offered, but they will probably appear as the launch date for this new functionality approaches.
