Vodafone: RADICAL decision that DISAPPOINTS Romanian Customers

Vodafone took a radical decision that disappointed a lot of customers in Romania, here's what the operator decided to do and what happened.

vodafone disappointed

Vodafone in 2019 he made an extremely important decision for the clients in Romania, and he even managed to amaze a lot of people with his achievement, but unfortunately everything turned out to be a bit in vain, in the end. As you already know very well, at the beginning of the year Vodafone launched a 5G mobile phone network for the first time for Romania, also holding a concert in which they used a hologram to show the power of the technology, but since then everything has disappeared.

Vodafone then announced 5G as the great technological evolution for mobile telephony in Romania, but in a short time it was overtaken and overtaken by Digi Mobil, something that has not changed until now. Although those from Vodafone were the first with a 5G network in Romania, they finally arrived at the end of 2020 to be surpassed by those from Digi Mobil, who have the most extensive network, and maybe even reached by those from Orange, with its own network.

Vodafone: RADICAL decision that DISAPPOINTS Romanian Customers

In the meantime, Vodafone has not promoted the 5G network it has at all, it is not known if it has been extended beyond the restricted areas of the three cities where it was initially launched, which clearly shows how the situation is. Those from Vodafone have kind of "buried" the 5G network for now, probably because the auction for the frequencies that will be used to create the infrastructure in the country has not yet been organized in Romania, and it is not known when this will happen.

Vodafone still managed to put itself in an unusual situation, being the first company to create a 5G network in the country, and being very quickly overtaken by another, which theoretically has much less resources. Of course, the expectations regarding Vodafone were high, but for now they have not really been fulfilled, and there is no reason to believe that this will happen too soon, especially since the situation of 5G networks in Romania is unclear.

Vodafone is the first company that created a 5G network in Romania, it was followed by Digi Mobil, and then those from Orange, Telekom being the only telecommunications group that still does not have a 5G network launched in the country.
