The Romanian Police published today an unexpected message received from a driver who was sanctioned with a warning on the A3 highway because he parked irregularly in the emergency lane, being spotted by a police crew.

The Romanian Police published the message below as a warning to other drivers who park irregularly on the emergency lane of a highway, but also to show that there are people who understand the repercussions of their actions.

The Romanian Police has repeatedly said that the emergency lane on the highway should not be used for parking unless there is a serious problem with the car that prevents it from moving under normal conditions, which very few people understand.

The Romanian Police knows that the emergency lane on Romanian highways is used pointlessly by some drivers, either to stop and admire nature, or to "feed" it, or to overtake, which is of course dangerous, but situations of this kind are met very often.
