LIVE: The new Military Ordinance announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs

A new military ordinance is currently being announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs by the authorities, this has been discussed since the weekend by Marcel Vela, the minister who leads the MAI, but it is adopted only after the adoption by Parliament of the new extension decree of the state of emergency.

It has been said these days that the new military ordinance will bring changes in the field of agriculture, cross-border work, or maritime work, but it would not be excluded to see some provisions related to the Easter holiday this weekend.

The measures brought by the new military ordinance are:

  1. Flights with Great Britain, Northern Ireland, USA, Belgium, Holland, Turkey, Iran, Italy, France, Germany are still suspended for another 14 days;
  2. Exception to the isolation rules for seafarers if they do not have symptoms of COVID-19;
  3. Cross-border workers who work in the border area with Bulgaria are exempt from isolation if they do not have symptoms of COVID-19;
  4. The agro-food markets remain open during the Easter period as well, provided that all the regulations of the military ordinances regarding the prevention of the spread of infections with COVID-19 are respected;
  5. The ban on the export of wheat and other derived products is completely cancelled.
