iPhone OS is going to be one of the big surprises that the Apple company would present during WWDC 2020 for customers of iPhone phones and iPod Touch devices around the world.
iPhone OS would replace iOS, at least as an operating system name, and this is normal since iPadOS was the name applied last year for the iOS version dedicated to the iPad, and no one complained.
iPhone OS would very clearly suggest that iOS is no longer a universal operating system, but one fragmented into two separate versions, which of course is not one of the best things in the world, in the end.
