Coronavirus Romania Cases Healing August 13

Yesterday, unfortunately, we had a new record of cases of Coronavirus in Romania, the authorities confirming that there is a new very large increase in the number of infected people, which confirms the fact that there are huge problems regarding the pandemic in our country .

Unfortunately, the number of people hospitalized in intensive care because of the new Coronavirus remains at a record level, and will continue to grow in the next period because the authorities still fail to convince people to protect themselves.

The way the Coronavirus pandemic is evolving in Romania has also brought us new restrictions from the authorities of other European countries, and it is possible that new ones will come because the number of infections will continue to grow without stopping, unfortunately.

"Until today, August 13, on the territory of Romania, 66.631 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

31.547 patients were declared cured and 7.253 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 1.454 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. To date, 2.860 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.

In the interval 12.08.2020 (10:00) - 13.08.2020 (10:00) 53 deaths (32 men and 21 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in hospitals in Alba, Arad, Argeș were recorded , Bacău, Bihor, Botoșani, Brăila, Buzău, Caraș – Severin, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Iasi, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Neamţ, Olt, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea and the Municipality Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was registered in the age category 30-39 years, 1 death in the age category 40-49 years, 3 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 13 deaths in the age category 60-69 years , 24 deaths in the 70-79 age category and 11 deaths in the over 80 age category.

49 of the recorded deaths are of patients who had comorbidities, and 4 patients who died did not have comorbidities.

In the health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7.437. Of these, 478 are hospitalized at ATI.

Until this date, at the national level, 1.450.269 tests have been processed. Of these, 22.649 were performed in the last 24 hours, 13.999 based on the case definition and medical protocol, and 8.650 on request.

On the territory of Romania, 7.935 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 5.421 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 20.775 people are in home quarantine, and 101 people are in institutionalized quarantine."
