The Romanian Post makes this warning regarding international shipments, and offers below a series of explanations regarding what people who want to send whatever they need should know, so it's good to know what's going on.
"The Romanian Post National Company informs its customers that in the period leading up to and following the Easter Holidays, in this case, April 20 - May 16, 2021, international postal traffic will be affected by a number of factors: large amounts of mailings, days legal holidays, congestion of international air transport flights, as well as numerous cancellations of air flights departing from Henri Coandă International Airport. As a result of these aspects, delays in circulation times may occur.
The Romanian Post apologizes to customers for the inconvenience caused and assures them that the national operator of postal services respects all its obligations imposed by law and assumed in the relationship with customers and will manage the situation as efficiently as possible."
