90 Coronavirus Deaths Announced Yesterday Most 2020

Yesterday's reporting on the number of new cases of Coronavirus also came with a surprisingly high number of deaths, but over 90% of them are reported for the period July 2020 - April 2, 2021, and we are talking about an update of the figures since then.

The Ministry of Health had announced at one point that there were erroneous mentions regarding deaths due to the Coronavirus in its databases, so that a few days ago it resumed adding the old reports among the new ones so that the general statistics could be updated.

"In the interval 05.06.2021 (10:00) - 06.06.2021 (10:00) 90 deaths (49 men and 41 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Argeș hospitals, were reported by the INSP , Arad Bihor, Constanta, Cluj, Iasi, Maramureș, Neamț, Prahova, Sibiu and Vâlcea.

82 of these deaths are before the above-mentioned interval and were entered into the database, at the request of the Ministry of Health, by the Public Health Directorates in the country, following the checks carried out.

Thus, 2 deaths occurred in July 2020, 7 in August 2020, 13 in September 2020, 14 in October 2020, 27 in November 2020, 13 in December 2020, 1 in January 2021, 2 in February 2021, 1 in March 2021 and 2 in April 2021, in the counties of Arad, Bihor, Cluj, Iasi, Maramureș, Neamț and Vâlcea.

Among the 90 deaths, 1 was registered in the age category 30-39 years, 2 in the age category 40-49 years, 9 in the age category 50-59 years, 24 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 24 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 30 deaths in the age category over 80 years.

All registered deaths are of patients who had comorbidities."
