Coronavirus Romania: New Number of New Cases from June 27, 2021

Coronavirus Romania New Number of New Cases from June 27, 2021

A new number of new cases of Coronavirus was officially announced on June 27, 2021 by the Romanian authorities, and we are talking about the same very small numbers that are still being recorded in our country based on the very good situation we are in.

The situation in hospitals is still very good, with fewer and fewer people hospitalized in intensive care, and more and more wards returned to normal activity, the number of deaths falling as a result, even if wrongly classified deaths are reported in the past.

The vaccination campaign is unfortunately going in the wrong direction, and this is because of the decreasing number of Romanians who are interested in vaccination, but maybe the authorities will start to find better reasons for people to immunize themselves.

"Until today, June 27, on the territory of Romania, 1.080.630 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

1.045.351 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 46 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. The distribution of total cases and new cases by county can be found in the table below.

*Regarding the "new cases not allocated by county", we specify that their number is determined by the changes made to the electronic platform through which the test results for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the test centers directly enter the results of the tests carried out, following which the epidemiological investigation is carried out at the level of the Public Health Directorates and the positive cases are assigned to the county/locality to which the infected persons belong.

The coefficient of cumulative infections per 14 days, reported per 1.000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Directorates of Public Health, at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties. Below you have the graph made based on the reports received by the CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:"
