Coronavirus Romania Official Number of New Cases from June 30, 2021

The official number of new cases of coronavirus infections announced on June 30, 2021 further confirms the fact that Romania is in a very good situation from the point of view of the pandemic, which should make our summer much quieter.

Preparations have already begun in hospitals for the fourth wave of infections with the Coronavirus, which is spreading rapidly through many European countries due to the Delta and Delta Plus strains, so our authorities expect that in Romania the number of cases in the fall.

The vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus is going through problems at the moment, and that's because the Romanians don't want to get vaccinated, but things will probably change in the fall as the number of new cases continues to grow.

"Until today, June 30, on the territory of Romania, 1.080.792 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

1.045.351 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 52 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. The distribution of total cases and new cases by county can be found in the table below.

*Regarding the "new cases not allocated by county", we specify that their number is determined by the changes made to the electronic platform through which the test results for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the test centers directly enter the results of the tests carried out, following which the epidemiological investigation is carried out at the level of the Public Health Directorates and the positive cases are assigned to the county/locality to which the infected persons belong.
