The Corona Virus pandemic in Romania continues during this period in our country, and the number of new cases remains very low, which means that the restrictions are still far away, but also the 4th wave, which does not cause very big problems for now.
The pressure on hospitals remains very low during this period thanks to the small number of cases constantly registered, and this is one of the best news, especially since the number of deaths is still at a very low level.
The vaccination campaign is, unfortunately, not at the level desired by the authorities, and this is because few people continue to get vaccinated in our country, but the authorities hope that things will change for the better in the next period.
"Until today, July 19, on the territory of Romania, 1.081.678 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.
1.046.776 patients were declared cured.
Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 46 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. *Regarding the "new cases not allocated by county", we specify that their number is determined by the changes made to the electronic platform through which the test results for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the test centers directly enter the results of the tests carried out, following which the epidemiological investigation is carried out at the level of the Public Health Directorates and the positive cases are assigned to the county/locality to which the infected persons belong.
