Valeriu Gheorghita has issued an extremely serious warning for Romanians throughout the country in full expansion of the 4th wave of the Coronavirus, and this is because there are many people who believe that the pandemic has ended, but the reality is completely different.
Valeriu Gheorghita has recently stated that the Delta version of the Coronavirus is extremely dangerous and can cause an explosion of new cases in Romania, plus some more serious ones, but also that vaccination is the only way to reduce the number of infections and the severe forms, after as you can see below and in a statement made last week.
"The message is as clear as possible, that, at the moment, there is an increasing trend of cases generated by the Delta viral variant which, as we know, is much more contagious, spreads much more easily among the unvaccinated population and which can associate a higher risk of hospitalization, estimated at 2,5 times compared to the infection with the previous variants, especially if we are talking about the population, I repeat, unvaccinated, vulnerable population, elderly population, which may have an increased risk of evolution towards severe forms of the disease, requiring hospitalization."
