INSP has published new information regarding the serious situation of new cases of Coronavirus in Romania in the last week, the number of infections exploding, and the vast majority of people who were infected were unvaccinated, the same being true in the case of deaths.
"INSP report for the week of September 13-19: 91.5% of the registered deaths were in unvaccinated people
In the week of September 13 – 19, 2021, 75.8% of confirmed cases were registered in unvaccinated persons;
91.5% of the registered deaths were in unvaccinated persons;
35.5% of all cases were registered in Bucharest, Timiș, Cluj, Ilfov and Iași.
From the beginning of the pandemic until now:
1 out of 77 of the total cases was registered with medical personnel.
85.9% of all deaths were in people over 60 and 57.4% of deaths were in men.
94.5% of deceased persons had at least one associated comorbidity.
We must protect vulnerable people!
Only through responsibility can we return to normality!
The simplest and most accessible method by which we can defeat the virus remains vaccination."
