Telekom: OFFICIAL Announcement, Important Changes for Customers

Telekom preservation

Telekom officially announced a series of important changes that it made for its customers from all over Romania once the sale of the fixed services division to Orange was completed, one year after the announcement of the transaction. The ones from Telekom remain in Romania with the mobile services division at the moment, but also several million customers throughout the country, and for all of them they decided to update the free MyAccount application.

Telekom has updated the MyAccount application to optimize its operation so that customers of the mobile services division can manage the services they enjoy much more easily. Considering that Telekom only has the mobile services division in the country at the moment, it was normal to see this major change made for the application dedicated to iPhone and Android phones, it being available right from this moment.

Telekom: OFFICIAL Announcement, Important Changes for Customers

Telekom does not clearly detail what it has changed in the MyAccount application for customers from all over the country, but we can assume that it is about good changes offered for phones. It is expected that all fixed service management options will have disappeared from Telekom's MyAccount application since the millions of customers who used them were transferred to Orange last week.

Telekom is now trying to keep the customers within the mobile services division at the moment, and that means offering them the best possible experience for using the services it still has. It is expected that Telekom will invest in the next period in order to offer its customers access to new, last-generation services, including a 5G network, something that is completely missing from the Romanian company's portfolio.

Telekom remains the third mobile operator in Romania, but the fourth telecommunications group, and could soon be overtaken by DIGI Mobil when it comes to the number of mobile service customers.
