The Romanian Post has extended the SMS service for notifications received in the case of shipments that must reach us, the national company announcing to customers that they will now receive these types of information for several types of shipments from the European Union.
The Romanian Post says below that these new types of notifications sent via SMS apply to any of the 52 post offices with customs assistance, so you can benefit from everything wherever you are in Romania and have something to receive.

The Romanian Post has extended the SMS alert service for all types of shipments arriving from outside the European Union, in all 52 post offices with customs assistance, which you can find here:
Your time is precious to us, so we notify you, through a message received on your mobile phone, about the date and time from which you can present yourself at the postal subunits to pick up the items.
Please contact the chosen office before you go to pick up your parcel, to make sure that you have completed all the formalities and have all the necessary documents to take possession of the postal item you are waiting for.
