DACIA has stood out over the last few years with the various models it has launched on markets around the world, some of them having surprisingly great success. However, a model like the one in the images below is far from the dreams of many Romanians.
We are talking about a concept of a DACIA car called Sentry, which would make many renowned car manufacturers envious. The car conceived by a Romanian designer surprised many Romanians, even if it has little chance of ever being launched, in reality.
The DACIA 1300 is the starting point for the Sentry concept, the differences being "like from heaven to earth" between the two cars. Probably some Romanians would have wished that there were bigger differences between that old model and what is sold now, but the reality is completely different.
It is interesting that this car thought by the Romanian designer should have been electric, but that way we can make a comparison with Spring. DACIA has chosen to launch in Romania an electric car that is not exactly new, but a model sold for a long time by Renault in China, and this says a lot about the future of the brand.
The Sentry is a very interesting idea, it could be a car that who knows what other reputable manufacturer could brag about in the future, but DACIA will not produce it soon. We all know what DACIA focuses on when making a car, and what we see in these images is far from the company's philosophy vis-à-vis automobiles.
DACIA launched new car models in 2021, 2022, and in 2023, plus 2024, several new models of current cars are expected, plus a new one. It would have been very interesting if at some point we could see a car like the Sentry from the Romanian company, even something more "rudimentary", but no we can hope to something like that.
