A video of the moment of the explosion near Taksim Square in Istanbul was published just a few tens of minutes after it took place, 4 people were killed and dozens more were injured, and as you can see below, we are talking about a very crowded area where the explosion took place.
Turkey says it could be a terrorist attack, there are unconfirmed rumors according to which the country's general prosecutor would have classified the explosion as a suicide attack, but for now there is not much information to support or refute such a hypothesis, although the explosion seems to have been generated by a package placed near a bank.
Istanbul has not been shaken by such a possible terrorist attack in a very long time, and what we see below shows us that despite the war in Ukraine, there are other dangers in the whole world that should not be ignored by anyone at the moment, because they can lead to the loss of human lives.
The authorities in Istanbul sent emergency services near Taksim square to provide medical care to the injured, but also to ensure that there are no other suspicious packages in the area, and that there is no possibility that other similar attacks will take place in the following hours, something that is not excluded.
