Mac OS X Lion Developer Preview 4 was released last evening by Apple, this new version not being GM so it is not the final version that will arrive in the Mac App Store in July. The novelties are mostly limited to solving some bugs of the previous version, to improving the general performance and to design changes. This one new release it has build 11A494a and is 660 MB, so the changes are substantial. Here's what's new in Mac OS X Lion Developer Preview 4:
1. The login screen has a new background (as you can see in the image above).
2. The animation that appears when you switch from fullscreen to non-fullscreen windows has been modified.
3. Mission Control now has a new background.
4. Mission Control is now activated using a 4-finger gesture.
5. The position of the icons in the Preferences menu has been changed.
6. A bug appeared regarding navigation from new pages to old ones using Safari.
This did not appear before because I already installed it on the PC
Mac OS X Lion DP 4 had been released earlier. This is just an update! And the size varies. For example, I have 994,4 MB.
Seriously now it seems that 11A480e is final
Hello !
It's just an update of Preview4.
It was released on the same day iOS5 was released, only this is an update.
There will be one or two more updates until the end.
@Nelamurire, what do you mean you have it on your PC?
