Pentru noua tableta iPad 2 Apple a inclus in AppStore un nou model de dock care va functiona exclusiv cu noul model al tabletei si va costa 29$ in SUA respectiv 29€ in Europa. Dock-ul are un design nou, special conceput pentru tableta iPad 2 care este mult mai subtire decat actualul model. Noul dock are partea din fata usor ridicata pentru a sustine tableta, probabil datorita noului design, are un jack audio de 3.5 mm, si desigur portul USB de 30 de pini in care introducem dispozitivul pentru a o incarca si asculta muzica. Presupun ca vechiul model de dock va fi scos din distributie in curand deci daca aveti o tableta iPad si inca mai aveti in gand sa va achizitionati unul de la Apple, ar fi momentul sa o faceti.
