Tabletele sunt “pe val” acum si majoritatea producatorilor de telefoane mobile incearca sa intre pe segmentul tabletelor cu produse competitive. Apple este lider de piata cu iPad 2 insa din ce in ce mai multe nume mari ale industriei isi “incearca norocul” in acest domeniu iar Asus incearca sa ne uimeasca, cu un produs care ar trebui sa reprezinte viitorul. Asus PadFone este o tableta smartphone sau mai bine zis o tableta controlata de un smartphone. Cei de la Asus au conceput un smartphone Android cu ecran de 4.3 inch care poate fi montat intr-o tableta care preia imaginile de la terminal si le afiseaza pe ecranul propriu de 10.1 inch.

Practic tableta este doar un dock in care smartphone-ul poate fi introdus deoarece tableta nu are procesor, placa grafica, mediu de stocare ci doar un ecran mai mare care preia imaginile de pe ecranul smartphone-ului. Este oare acesta viitorul tabletelor? Cei de la Asus spun ca da, eu spun ca nu. Ideea este interesanta si pentru multi va fi atragatoare avand in vedere a acest produs ofera un 2 in 1, un smartphone si o tableta. Va inlocui un asemenea produs tabletele clasice? Foarte greu de crezut mai ales daca Apple va continua sa fie lider de piata si nu va adopta o tehnologie asemanatoare.
