  Geohot sau George Hotz, este unul dintre cei mai cunoscuti hackeri americani, fiind primul care a decodat terminalul iPhone in anul 2007. Geohot a fost cel mai iubit hacker de catre comunitatea utilizatorilor de jailbreak, insa din pacate in anul 2010 a lansat ultimul sau exploit, pe care foarte multi posesori de terminale iPhone si tablete iPad inca il folosesc. Pentru ca Geohot este atat de popular, cei de la The New Yorker i-au luat un interviu si in 7 pagini descriu tot ceea ce se afla in spatele celebrului hacker american.
