Apple ramane, cu greu, in topul producatorilor de tabletein Q3 2013

  Acum doi ani de zile compania Apple era lider absolut pe piata tabletelor, avand o cota de piata de peste doua treimi si parand a fi extrem de greu de detronat de catre cineva. Acum lucrurile sunt complet diferite, coreenii de la Samsung apropiindu-se destul de mult de compania americana in ceea ce priveste vanzarile. Conform unor cifre publicate astazi de catre o companie de analiza a pietei, Apple are 29.7% din piata tabletelor cu 14.2 milioane de unitati vandute, Samsung plasandu-se pe locul al doilea cu 22.2% si 10.6 milioane de unitati vandute.

The lack of a second-quarter product release and anticipation of a fourth-quarter product update resulted in tepid year-over-year sales in the third quarter. The erosion in Apple’s unit shipment market share was inevitable.   Cifrele reprezinta estimari privind vanzarile, iar in cazul Apple ele sunt mai mari decat cele anuntate de catre companie. In cazul celor de la Samsung nu avem date reale oferite de catre companie, asa ca ramanem doar cu ceea ce isi imagineaza analistii ca au vandut coreenii. Practic pe piata tabletelor vom asista in curand la o situatie similara cu cea intalnita pe piata smartphone-urilor, Samsung urmand depasi Apple si in acest segment multumita unei cresteri extrem de mari a vanzarilor de tablete proprii.

  In ciuda concurentei foarte mari, cei de la Apple isi pastreaza suprematia pe piata tabletelor, ba mai mult, au reusit chiar sa isi creasca veniturile generate de aceasta tableta cu 3$ per unitate. Apple se indreapta incet, dar sigur, spre locul 2 in topul producatorilor de tablete, insa asta conteaza mai putin pentru americani atat timp cat profitul creste. In final trebuie mentionat faptul ca scaderea in vanzari inregistrata in Q3 fata de Q2 poate fi atribuita pe lansarea iPad Air si iPad Mini cu Ecran Retina, numeroase zvonuri anuntand aducerea pe piata a acestor doua produse.
