Instagram este cea mai populară rețea de photo sharing dedicată utilizatorilor de terminale mobile, ea fiind achiziționată de către compania Facebook cu mai bine de un an de zile în urmă în baza numărului mare de utilizatori activi lunar.
Instagram are și o aplicație disponibilă în App Store pentru iDevice-urile noastre, iar în cursul acestei seri ea a fost actualizata, o importanta schimbare fiind implementata pentru utilizatorii din SUA, acestia avand acum posibilitatea de a accesa o noua sectiune numita Explore, aceasta oferind toate functiile prezentate mai jos.

– Trending tags and places: Dynamically updated content gives you a real-time look at what’s happening nearby—and all over the world.
– Curated collections: Explore a rotating selection of people and places—like extreme athletes or national parks—hand-picked by Instagram.
Places search: Now that you can search by location, it’s easy to explore an exotic vacation destination or see what’s happening in your neighborhood.
While the redesigned Explore tab is currently only available in the US, we’ve also improved search for everyone else. You can now:
– Search by location: Find posts specifically tagged with a place name.
– Search all posts: Do a quick power search across username, name, hashtag or location.
Separat de functiile pentru SUA, aplicatia Instagram le permite celorlalti utilizatori de pe glob sa efectueze cautari in functie de locatia in care se afla si sa caute printre toate post-urile publicate vreodata.
Aplicația Instagram este deja compatibilă cu iOS 8, iPhone 6 și iPhone 6 Plus, iar în App Store ea este disponibilă pentru DESCĂRCARE GRATUITĂ într-un format compatibil cu iPhone și iPod Touch.
