Saptamana trecuta aplicatia Pokemon GO a fost actualizata de catre creatorii jocului, compania Niantic, iar pritnre functiile eliminate de catre ea se numara si una care permitea reducerea consumului de energie al bateriei in timpul folosirii aplicatiei, multi utilizatori fiind suparati din cauza dezactivarii sale.
Astazi Pokemon GO a fost lansat intr-o varietate de tari din America Centrala si de Sud, iar cei de la Niantic au anuntat ca vor reimplementa functia care permite reducerea substantiala a consumului de energie al terminalelor care folosesc jocul pentru a cauta pokemoni, deci foarte multi utilizatori ar trebui sa se linisteasca.
Conform celor de la Niantic, o serie de probleme de functionare au determinat scoaterea acestei functii din jocul Pokemon GO, insa ele ar fi fost rezolvate, iar functia va fi din nou disponibila pentru utilizatori intr-o versiune actualizata a jocului, aceasta urmand a fi lansata oficiala in App Store in zilele urmatoare.
Separat de aceasta reimplementare a unei functii existente, cei de la Niantic au anuntat ca pokemonul legendar Articuno a fost afisat in mod eronat in Pokemon GO si ca el a fost eliminat din conturile utilizatorilor, diverse alte rezolvari de probleme si functii noi urmand a fi implementate in saptamanile urmatoare pentru utilizatori.

- Central and South America – Break out the sneakers and Poké Balls, and get ready to explore the world around you. We are excited to officially be putting Pokémon GO in the hands of our Latin American fans, visitors, and the Olympic athletes in Rio!
- We have been hearing the feedback loud and clear about the removal of the Battery Saver mode on iOS devices. We had removed this feature as several users were experiencing it to be buggy, but we are fairly confident that a fix for this should roll out within the next several days.
- A few of our Legendary Pokémon had erroneously been granted to some Trainers. Thanks to the help of several of our Trainers, we were able to locate them and bring them home safely.
- We have been working long hours to fix many other bugs and bring some exciting new features to Pokémon GO in the future. However, next up for us is the continued roll-out of Pokémon GO to more countries around the world.
