iGlowPhone – Phosphorescent foil for iPhone 4

In the video clip above you can see a phosphorescent protective film for the iPhone 4, a rather interesting concept that works quite well. The foil "lights up" just a few seconds after being exposed to light, so the material seems to be of good quality. For the test, a white iPhone 4 model was used, which is now not available on the market, but I am quite sure that the result would not be the same with a black model because it would not reflect the light as well. The manufacturer claims that this foil also solves the problems with the signal and he is probably right because the side foils cover the antennas and thus avoid direct contact with them and implicitly the loss of the signal.

Anyway, the idea is interesting and worth trying if you have an extra penny and feel like doing tests. The foil is called iGlowPhone and is available in 2 versions: a which only comes with fluorescent foils and costs $11.99; and the second one has a phosphorescent backplace and a foil for the screen (in addition to the other) and costs $14.99. The foils can only be purchased from website official of the manufacturer.
