Apparently, Apple will provide users with an application called Server that will allow the transformation from Mac OS X Lion to Mac OS X Server. Of course, the respective application could cost several tens/hundreds of dollars considering that the server version is mainly dedicated to the business environment.
I like how Apple thinks, it tries to simplify everything and the above idea is extremely useful. Practically, whoever needs a server downloads a simple paid application and probably in an hour the Mac installs Mac OS X server without going through the "trouble" of buying and using a physical disk.
