They passedt 2 weeks after sending the iDevice.ro v1.1 application to Apple and here it was finally approved last night after a long verification process. I know that many of you have been waiting for this version since March, well we finally managed to bring you a new, improved and universal version. First of all, you will notice that I have completely changed the UI of the application, I think it is friendlier and much better looking. Secondly, we have implemented a new push notification system that should not send you notifications more than once. I would like to know from you if you still receive notifications after installing the application to be sure that everything is going as it should.
We have implemented the auto-rotation module in the application so that you can read the articles in landscape mode as well. Some improvements were made to the core of the application to make it work better, some bugs were also solved and we reintroduced the forum in the application so that from now on you can enter the forum quietly. I need to find another mobile theme for the forum, but for now I haven't had time for something like that. Finally, we have the iPad version, which I think will be to everyone's taste. Of course, landscape mode also works there and I think it's a much more pleasant way to read the site and to have access to all the important sections.
I hope you like the application, don't forget to update it and leave a review in the App Store if you like it. I thank him Victor because he had the patience to redo his application as well Cosmin who did all the graphics. Without them, the application would not have reached you in its current version. I want to mention something, considering that the application runs uiwebview, let the articles load completely before you start browsing the page. Uiwebview does not display the squares in the non-loaded portions of a web page, it displays the content but if you scroll the images are displayed cumbersomely. The same will happen in the iPhone version of the application, so I recommend that you let the page load first and only then start browsing through it. Uiwebview was badly designed by Apple and that's how it works, there's nothing we can do about it.
