A former manager of Samsung revealed confidential information about the iPad tablet before its launch

A former manager of the Samsung company declared before an American federal court that disclosed information confidential about the iPad tablet before the official launch in the USA. The manager admitted that in a discussion with a manager of a development fund he revealed how many touchscreens were delivered to Apple before the official launch of the iPad tablet. The discussion between the two took place in December 2 and the former manager of Samsung claims that it was overheard by an Apple employee.

One particular thing I remember vividly was that I talked about the shipment numbers of Apple, it was about iPad. This is in December 2009, before it came out with the tablet PC, they didn't know the name then, so I talked to them about the tablet shipment estimates in that meeting.

Hwang said he quickly became concerned that they had been overheard by an Apple employee. "After I said it, I looked around," he remarked. "The first thing I thought was 'Wow, I said it too loud' and then I really freaked out."

Of course, the manager of the development fund knew absolutely nothing about Apple's plans, and the former manager of Samsung started to become uneasy about the information provided after his company lost an important contract with Apple. Considering the way in which the people from Samsung keep the secrets of the Apple company, I seem to begin to understand why so many processes were started by the company from Cupertino.
