Apple puts iDevices back on sale in Germany, obtains a suspension of the ban imposed by Motorola

Today Apple was obliged for a few hours to remove the iPhone 3GS/4 terminals and the iPad 3G tablets from sale due to a sales ban imposed by the Motorola company after winning a lawsuit in December of last year. Very little time behind Apple announced that he managed to obtain a suspension of the decision banning the sale of the respective iDevices and they will return to his online store in the next hour. This is the first ban imposed on the Apple company in Germany, but it was an extremely short one because the lawyers of the Cupertino company did their duty and managed to suspend it.

Apple has been granted a suspension of the German injunction against 3G-enabled iOS devices, with the iPad WiFi + 3G, iPhone 4 and other gadgets back on sale through the company's online store. "All iPad and iPhone models will be back on sale through Apple's online store in Germany shortly" the company told us in a statement.

The suspension follows an appeal against the ban and the reason for its granting is related to the attitude of those from Motorola who apparently did not want to offer Apple the opportunity to license, under fair, equal and non-discriminatory conditions, the FRAND technology based on which the ban was imposed. The suspension will remain active until the appeal is judged by a court in Germany and based on that decision Motorola could lose 100 million euros or Apple will have to withdraw its products from its online store again.
