During the conference that took place last night in San Francisco, Tim Cook announced the launch of a new model of Apple TV that will allow users to watch movies in 1080p format. The new TV contains a new user interface inspired by the already known iOS that is available for our iDevices. The third generation of Apple TV comes with an A5 single-core processor specially made by the Apple company for it and which will allow users to see much more multimedia content and watch their favorite movies/TV shows directly from iCloud but will allow and viewing the entire PhotoStream through the same service.
Together with iOS 5.1, the TV brings a new interface for users, the interface that will also be available in the old model sold on the market until yesterday. The new Apple TV is available in Apple stores at the same price of $99 and will be delivered starting on the 16 March, just like the new iPad tablet.
