I told you today that Google Maps starts to display traffic information for Bucharest, the information being available directly in the Maps application of our iDevices. Considering that in iOS 6 Apple removed the Google Maps system from within the Maps application and replacing it with another one of your own, you are probably wondering how everything will work on our iDevices. Well, in the video clip above you have the answer, the system will still work almost as well, but through the Safari browser. maps.google.com it can be accessed through the Safari browser on our iDevices and with its help you can locate yourself on the map, use the traffic system and much more.
Of course, you will not be able to calculate routes to certain destinations, but at least you have access to all the information provided by Google, including this system recently introduced for our country. In the same way, you can use the maps from maps.bing.com or maps.nokia.com, but you must know from the beginning that the user experience will not be as good as the one offered by the Maps application.
