TurnOffButton is a tweak released last evening in Cydia, allowing iDevice owners to choose the functionality of the Lock button of their terminals. Normally this button locks an iDevice with a simple press and activates the terminal lock system with a long press, but using this new tweak you can add new actions for it. This tweak only changes the functionality that is run when you long press the Lock button, so instead of displaying the interface that allows you to close the terminal, you will have the option to choose between:
- performing a respring;
- entering Safe Mode;
- elimination of the function;
- direct closing without using the slider;
- opening the Messages application;
- opening the Cydia application;
- opening the Safari application.
TurnOffButton is available for free in Cydia and is theoretically compatible with any iDevices.
