iPhone 5 is presented as having the best screen in a smartphone

In iPhone 5 Apple chose to use a new screen built using in-cell technology and those from Display Research praise the decision of the Cupertino company, saying that this is the best screen used in a smartphone. Those from Display Research say that iPhone 5 it has the screen with the highest contrast, reflects light better, and of course has a technology that displays clearer and more accurate colors. Although it is not perfect, the screen of the terminal is presented as the best tested so far in a mobile terminal, and those from Display Research have tested almost all the devices on the market.

Based on our extensive lab measurements the iPhone 5 has a true state-of-the-art accurate display — it's not perfect and there is plenty of room for improvements (and competitors) but it is the best smartphone display we have seen to date on extensive lab measurements and viewing tests. The white point is still somewhat too blue like most smartphones, and at maximum brightness it has a shorter running time than the iPhone 4, which is not surprising since it has a larger screen and a larger color gamut but roughly the same capacity battery.

Unfortunately, the battery life is seriously affected when the screen is set to maximum brightness, but this seems to be the only "problem" of the screen, those from Display Research saying that it would be even better than the one in the Samsung Galaxy S III. In this article you have detailed comparisons and explanations for each test run by Display Research, and based on the information there you can convince yourself if the screen is really great or not. I will come back with more details in the following days.
