Touch ID - my experience in the first month of using the fingerprint reader in the iPhone 5S

As you already know very well, I have owned a terminal for more than a month iPhone 5S si touch IDwas one of the functions that I used and appreciated right from the start. I explained to you in the iPhone 5S review exactly what this entails touch ID, and now I tell you that, in general, we are talking about one fingerprint reader implemented directly in the Home button, allowing us to quickly unlock the iPhone by simply placing our finger over the button and to authorize purchases made through iTunes Store.

Although I would have expected that touch ID- to not work 100% correctly, to display frequent errors when reading fingerprints and to generate various operational problems, reality has shown me the opposite. The only situations in which Touch ID completely refuses to read fingerprints are those in which the finger is very wet, in the rest of the cases the fingerprint is read immediately, even if only a portion of the finger is placed on the reader. However, don't imagine that Touch ID doesn't display errors, because this is wrong, it has rare moments when it asks for a second reading of the fingerprint.

Despite the fact that the scanning works correctly, I have to say that I am not so enthusiastic about the implementation done in iOS 7. Although I was happy when I found out for the first time that I will be able to authorize application downloads using Touch ID and I will forget the password, unfortunately the security system thought by Apple leaves much to be desired. Resetting the iDevice requires entering the security code for unlocking and the iTunes password for the first purchase made after the reset, and if you close your terminals often, you will notice that this Touch ID does not change the situation much.

Despite this last inconvenience, I am, overall, satisfied with Touch ID and I forgot about the slide to unlock used for years with iDevices, all in one month. Having said that, I'm curious about your experience with Touch ID.
