CAREFUL! Some Cydia packages PERMANENTLY block iDevices!

If you don't jailbreak for several years, then there is a very high possibility that you have never had problems with iPhone terminals or iPad tablets that were damaged by tweaks of Cydia. Unfortunately, some packages published in Cydia, even in trusted repos, can have problems that permanently block our terminals after closing. A recent one which promised to change the color of the boot logo during the start of our terminals was launched in Cydia and after installation it blocks the terminals that had the jailbreak done.

The tweak was not intended to affect the functionality of the terminals, but if it was installed incorrectly by users, it generated problems when restarting the devices. The tweak affects the iOS NVRAM, so that after installation the terminals were completely blocked, and this means that the installation of the operating system became impossible and all without the users knowing in advance. The problem turned out to be so dangerous that someone made a special package to demonstrate how iOS can be affected in a dangerous way by malicious people.

These packages affect iDevices in such a way that the restore becomes impossible for users, so the only solution is to change the terminal. Despite the fact that the packages can break our terminals, the good part is that they are not approved in the trusted repos of Cydia, so you have to be careful what you download from others. The package in question is not in any known repo, so you don't have to worry about it, but you have to be extremely careful for the future.

Some developers are now trying to produce a patch that will prevent complete blocking of terminals in the future by installing such a mod, and when it is available for download I will let you know.
