Google is withdrawing the Sparrow application from the App Store

Sparrow is one of the interesting email applications launched in App Store for iDevice owners, those from Google buying the developer company of the title almost two years ago. Google announced that the entire team Sparrow will be integrated into the one that develops Gmail, the American company launching an application called inbox for iDevice owners just a few months ago. This application has priority without Sparrow, so the other day Sparrow was withdrawn from the App Store and the Mac App Store, all without Google officially announcing the abandonment of the project.

Google he bought the Sparrow company to improve its own products, so the withdrawal of the application from the App Store should not surprise anyone at the moment. Those from Google never promised that they would keep Sparrow apps in all stores after buying the company that developed it, so the withdrawal is as normal as possible. The Inbox project will offer us a better and more useful email application than Sparrow, so the transition to it should be auspicious for all users interested in using it on their terminals.

Having said that, if you still use the Sparrow application, it would be good to switch to Inbox or other email-type applications, because you will no longer receive updates in the old application bought by Google.
