Steve Jobs' office at Apple remained unchanged after his death

Steve Jobs office

Last year, Tim Cook stated that the office of the former Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, remained untouched after his death, the management team preferring to keep it unchanged to keep Jobs' memory alive within the American company. Now Tim Cook said in an interview that things haven't changed in a year and Jobs' office remained exactly as the former Apple CEO left it when he walked through its door for the last time.

Cook claims that inside the office there is a blackboard on which Jobs' children made some drawings to commemorate their father, Cook ordering that the office should not be changed in any way while he will be CEO of the company. Although Tim Cook did not want to step into Steve Jobs' office after his death because of the strong emotions that the visit would have created for him, he claims that the passage of time did not help him completely overcome the moment, so he rarely visits the place where Steve Jobs made such important decisions for Apple.

Tim Cook stated that as long as the widow of Steve Jobs does not demand that the office be completely closed or assigned to another person, he will not find another use for it and will not assume it, considering that it would not be right from a moral point of view for him to make such a change.
