Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + arrived yesterday at iDevice.ro through the program Orange Smartphone Tester, the terminal being launched in the second part of last month in various countries around the world, and from this week you can also buy it in our country from Orange Romania.
As you probably already know, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + it is the "big brother" of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, the main visible difference between the two terminals being the size, the first of them having a 5.7-inch diagonal screen, 0.2 inches larger than that of the iPhone 6 Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ terminal that came into my possession for the following period has the previously mentioned 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a 16-megapixel main camera that shoots 4K, 4 GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel front camera and an octa-core Exynos Exynos 7420 processor.
First impressions
Although we are talking about a Samsung smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ has a premium look that "transfers" into the user experience, the glass case used by the company in combination with the aluminum edges reminding me of the time when I used iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S.
Although the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ has some design elements that resemble the iPhone 6 Plus, the curved screen on the edges gives you a completely different feeling for using applications, but especially for surfing the Internet, accessing the side menu being slightly difficult.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ sits well in the hand, less so when you start using it to surf the Internet for more than 5 minutes or start downloading applications, it heats up a bit more than an iPhone terminal, but the difference is negligible .
Premium look, spectacular screen
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ screen is by far the most commendable component, it renders gorgeous colors and as clear as possible, the camera with 4K recording completes an image of a premium smartphone that Samsung has not really accustomed us to in recent years.
All in all, I am pleasantly impressed with what Samsung has achieved with Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + in my short interaction so far, but in the following days I will give you more details about the device, so I await your opinions.
